Data Deletion
How to delete the data skylinked.in holds about you, and how to check on a deletion request.
1. What We Hold
skylinked.in only holds data about social accounts that you connect yourself. For a connected Instagram account that is: the account ID, username, account type (Business or Creator), a copy of the profile photo, an encrypted access token, and a record of the posts we published to that account for you (the post ID and its link). The full list for every service is in our Privacy Policy.
2. Delete Your Instagram Data
There are three ways. Use whichever is easiest.
From Instagram
- In the Instagram app or on instagram.com, open Settings → Apps and websites (it may appear as “Website permissions”).
- Find Skylinked in the list and choose Remove.
- Instagram tells us straight away. We stop posting to that account and delete the access token. If you also ask Instagram to have your data deleted, we delete everything listed above automatically and give you a confirmation code you can check on this page.
From skylinked.in
- Log in and open Settings → Instagram → Disconnect.
- Posting to Instagram stops immediately and the saved access token is deleted.
- To also erase the account ID, username, photo and post record, remove the app from Instagram as described above, or email us.
By email
- Write to contact@orangesky.app from the email address on your skylinked.in account and tell us what to delete.
- We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.
3. Delete Your LinkedIn Data
- Log in and open Settings → LinkedIn → Disconnect. Posting stops immediately.
- To have the saved LinkedIn details erased as well, email us as described above.
4. Delete Your Whole Account
Email contact@orangesky.app from your account’s email address and ask for your account to be deleted. We remove your profile, topics, generated posts and every connected social account within 30 days. Payment records are kept only for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
5. What Deletion Does Not Remove
Posts that were already published stay on Instagram and LinkedIn, because they live in your own account there, not with us. You can delete them yourself in Instagram or LinkedIn at any time.
6. Check a Deletion Request
If Instagram gave you a confirmation code, enter it here to see what happened to your request.
